William T. Dolan Jr.

William (Bill) T. Dolan, Jr., 76, of Worcester, MA passed away on January 11, 2025, in the UMass Memorial Medical Center-University Campus surrounded by his wife and his family.

Bill was the son of the late William T. Dolan, Sr. and Mary F. (Hickey) Dolan. He leaves behind his beloved wife of 45 years, Patricia Acampora Dolan. He also leaves many cousins and friends.

Bill was born in Worcester on December 27, 1948. He graduated from the former Assumption Preparatory School and Georgetown University. Upon graduation, he served in the U. S. Navy Seabee Unit (Naval Construction Force). He was the treasurer of Thomas A. Hickey, Inc., known to many as Hickey’s Package Stores. After retiring from Hickey’s, he worked for District Attorney Joseph Early as an Administrator serving in the Milford and Uxbridge District Courts. Bill belonged to East Post #201 and the Auburn Elks. He enjoyed golf and was an avid sports fan.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of the Rosary Church, 25 Fales St., Worcester on Saturday, January 18, 2025 at 10 a.m. Calling hours are Friday, January 17, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Athy Memorial Home, 111 Lancaster St., Worcester. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery, Worcester.
