Timothy R. Ferrie

Timothy R. Ferrie, 77, of Wilbraham, passed away Sunday, October 29, 2023 at the Baystate Medical Center in Springfield.

Born in Worcester, the son of William J. and Nancy M. (Young) Ferrie, Tim graduated from Burncoat High School. He worked as a surveyor for many years.

Tim was an avid bird watcher, runner and weightlifter. He was an amazingly talented artist, guitarist and singer. He was also a true and loyal friend.

He leaves his brother Mark, his sister Norah, his nephew Christian Deering and nieces Abbie Calkins Betchel “Clamson” and Jessie Calkins “Lob Claw.” He is predeceased by his brother William J. Ferrie Jr.

Tim believed deeply that he could contribute to the education and development of medical students by donating his body to the University of Massachusetts Medical School in Worcester. As such, services in the future will be private.
