Sean Dillon Obituary

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Sean Patrick Dillon, who left us far too soon at the age of 43 on Monday, April 28, 2025.

Born in Worcester, Mass., Sean leaves his parents, Dennis and Mary (Beauregard) Dillon of Worcester; his daughter, Olivia Dillon of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.; his sister Callie Dillon and her son Tucker, both of Worcester; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Sean’s warmth, humor, and generosity touched countless lives. From an early age, Sean had a natural ability to bring people together. In high school, he found not only his love for sports but also lifelong friendships as a dedicated member of both the football and baseball teams. His competitive spirit was matched only by his loyalty and kindness—qualities that endeared him to teammates and classmates alike.

After graduation, Sean pursued his passion for business and creativity and earned his bachelor’s degree in international business, sales, and marketing from the University of Miami in Florida where he continued to make lasting friendships. After college, Sean spent many years sharing his talent with colleagues working as a financial analyst at the Boston Scientific Company. In recent years, he worked at the Worcester County Courthouse in the IT Department.

His most important role was that of father to Olivia. From the moment he held her in his arms, she was his greatest joy. He was so proud of her and loved every moment he could spend with her. Olivia was his best friend and most favorite golf partner. They could always be heard laughing together over their shared inside jokes. Sean loved spending time with Olivia at the beach in Maine and going on adventures together.

Sean had an infectious laugh, an easygoing charm, and a way of making people feel seen and appreciated. Sean loved to travel, especially to places with sandy beaches. Sean shared so many memories with friends and family at one of his favorite seaside places-Moody Beach, Maine. He enjoyed all types of golf, including disc golf and mini-golf. Sean’s absence will leave a deep void, but his legacy of friendship, humor, and heart will live on in all who knew him.
