Sandra L. (Hoyle) LaVenture

Sandra Lee (Hoyle) LaVenture, 76, of Worcester, died Thursday, Sept. 22, 2022 at the UMass-Memorial Medical Center, after an illness.

Sandy leaves two sons, Chris LaVenture and his wife Heather of Worcester, and Joseph LaVenture and his wife Rebecca of Barre; a sister; and four grandchildren.  Her husband William Eddy died in 2013.  Her grandson C.J. LaVenture passed away in 2014.    

Sandy was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Walter and Hazel Hoyle.  She lived in Worcester for many years.  She was a graduate of North High School.

Sandy was an insurance agent with the former Winchester Insurance Agency for more than 20 years before retiring. 

Sandy was a devoted fan of Harry Potter books, films and anything and everything connected to the wizard character.  

There will be calling hours Thursday, Sept. 29, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Athy Memorial Home, 111 Lancaster St., Worcester.
