Robert C. Puzo Jr.

Robert C. Puzo Jr., 42, of Worcester, passed away on Monday, December 16, 2024 at the UMass-Memorial Medical Center, surrounded by his family, after a courageous battle against West Nile Virus.

Rob was born on February 21, 1982, son of Robin (Martin) Quentin and Robert C. Puzo Sr.  He grew up in Boylston, Shrewsbury and Worcester. He attended Assabet Valley Vocational School, studying agriculture and landscaping. Rob worked for various companies doing cleanouts and landscaping. He also ran his own eBay store.

He will be dearly missed by his children, who were everything to him, Kylie, Carmine and Brianna Puzo and their mother Sarah (Perry) Puzo, his dad and stepmother Robert Sr. and Lori Puzo; his brothers, William and Michael Puzo, and John Collette all of Worcester; and his Memay (grandmother) Elaine Puzo, also of Worcester, with whom he lived.

Rob was met in heaven by his mother Robin, grandfather Carmine L. Puzo and other family and friends.

His family would like to thank his care team at UMass-Memorial Medical Center Lakeside 2 ICU, for their compassion and outstanding care of him over the last several weeks. The family is also grateful to Dr. Doreen Brettler, Head of Hematology at UMass, for her care of Rob, throughout his lifetime.

Calling hours are Sunday, December 22, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Athy Memorial Home, 111 Lancaster St., Worcester.

The funeral Mass will be on Monday, December 23, at 10 a.m. in St. Bernard’s Church, 228 Lincoln St., Worcester.  Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Worcester.
