Robert J. Brunelle

Robert J. Brunelle, 82, of Seminole, Fla., and formerly of Worcester, died Friday, April 14, in Clearwater, Fla.

He leaves his wife, Karen L. Brunelle, his daughter Lisa G. Bowen and her husband Robert of Worcester; his two beloved grandchildren, Victoria and Nicolas Ortiz; three brothers, Paul, Charles and Michael Brunelle; two sisters, Janice Dillon and Donna Lennon, and many nieces and nephews. 

He was predeceased by his brothers, Rusty, Richard, Ronald and George Brunelle; and his sisters, Frances Desmarais, Marie Pearson and Susan Murphy.

Bob was born in Worcester, son of George A. and Luna A. (Spaulding) Brunelle.  

He was a self-employed home improvement contractor, with most of his work painting houses outside and inside, and as a wallpaper hanger.   

He also painted fine artwork as a hobby in retirement.

There will be a calling hour on Friday, April 21, from Noon to 1 p.m. at the Athy Memorial Home, 111 Lancaster St., Worcester.  A graveside service will follow at 1:30 p.m. in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton.
