Pauline E. (Sedlow) LeBoeuf, 98, of Worcester, died on Wednesday, January 1, 2025 after a brief illness in the UMass Memorial Medical Center surrounded by her family.
Beloved mother of three children, Linda Josti of Shrewsbury, Karen Zittel (Gene) of Worcester and Raymond W. LeBoeuf Jr. (Kathy) of Shrewsbury; cherished grandmother of six grandchildren; Michael Josti (Christine) of Norwell MA, Bob Josti (Paige) of Rutland MA, Jon Zittel (Anastacia) of Dudley MA, Julie Turgeon (Brian) of Dracut MA, Kate Hood (Jason) of Bremerton, WA and Amanda LeBoeuf of Waltham, MA; adored Great-Gram to six great-grandchildren, Troy Hope, Isaac and Eliot Josti, Alyssa Turgeon and Dakota Raymond Hood. She was predeceased by the love of her life, her husband, Raymond W. LeBoeuf Sr, son-in-law Walter Josti, four sisters and one brother.
Pauline was born in Worcester, daughter of Michael and Nellie (Toleikis) Sedlow and lived in Worcester all her life, mostly in the third floor home of a Worcester triple decker. Family and faith were central to Pauline’s life as she led by example. She lived the Christian values of love and charity throughout her life. With a constant smile and a bag of candy in her hand she became known as the “Candy Lady” to the friends and staff of Seabury Heights. Grandchildren proudly considered being able to memorize her mealtime blessing as a “rite of passage”. They fondly remember sleeping overnight under Grandma made tents, letter-shaped pancakes and lots of love. Great-Gram was lucky to live where she could see the trains traveling through Worcester.
Pauline’s family would like to thank the home-care staff of Elara Care and UMass Memorial 2 South for their care of Pauline.
