Margaret M. Clancey, 63, of Worcester, died Sunday, October 2, surrounded by loving family.
Peggy leaves her sister Kathleen A. Kanaracus of Worcester; two brothers, Michael T. Clancey of Worcester and Kevin J. Clancey and his wife Donna of Oxford; and many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. She also leaves many close friends, and her beloved dog Sadie.
Peggy was predeceased by her parents Joseph B. and Gertrude H. (McCarthy) Clancey, her brothers Mark S. and Ronald E. Clancey, her sister Sharron F. Clancey, and her brother-in-law Nicholas Kanaracus.
Peggy was born in and lived in Worcester all her life. She was a graduate of Doherty Memorial High School and Worcester State College. She worked for the United States Postal Service.
Peggy was devoted to her family. She was a loving daughter, sister and aunt.
There will be a calling hour Tuesday, October 11th, from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Athy Memorial Home, 111 Lancaster St., Worcester. The funeral service will follow in the funeral home at 11 a.m. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery, Worcester.
