Lucy Ellen (Barrows) Beaudoin

Lucy Ellen (Barrows) Beaudoin,72, of Barrows Road, Worcester passed away suddenly on Saturday evening surrounded by her family.

Lucy was born in Worcester, daughter of Roland and Helen (Naughton) Barrows.  She is survived by her sisters, Jackie Laflash of Paxton, Kathy Beaudoin of Florida and Patricia (Barrows) Bonnevie of Worcester; her brothers, Roger Barrows and Roland Barrows of Worcester, and John Barrows of Webster; and many nieces and nephews. 

She was predeceased by the love of her life and husband of 48 years, Edward Beaudoin, who died in 2018, and her brother Richard Barrows, who died in 2008.

Lucy was a devoted wife and loving sister, aunt and friend. She enjoyed hosting large family holiday dinners, music, movies, dancing and fun trips to Foxwoods, especially after her retirement from L.S. Starrett Co. in Athol.  Lucy took pride in her work and her friends.

Lucy was so loved and will be missed by so many.  Abiding by her wishes, there will be no public services. A private service will be held at a later date.

The Athy Memorial Home, 111 Lancaster St., Worcester, is directing arrangements.
