Kenneth W. Doody, 96, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 20, 2023.
Kenneth leaves his wife of 75 years, Doris M. (Rouleau) Doody, a daughter, Allison LeDoux of Worcester; eight grandchildren, Melanie LeDoux of Sterling, Judith LeDoux, Kimberly LeDoux, Theresa LeDoux all of Worcester, Deborah De Mora Sáa and her husband Andrés of Fall River, Meredith Chviruk and her husband Timothy, John F. LeDoux, Jr., and Maria LeDoux of Worcester; four great-grandchildren; and other loved family members.
Kenneth was predeceased by his parents Bernard J. and Lorna Doody; his siblings Gwendolyn, Richard, Louise, and Henry; his son-in-law, Deacon John F. LeDoux Sr., and many beloved family members and friends.
Kenneth was born in Winchendon, Massachusetts on February 3, 1927. Following his graduation from Murdock High School, Kenneth served for a brief time in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was employed by Norton Company and Sawyer Lumber Company in Worcester and later became co-owner of the Kitchen Center of Framingham.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, July 28 at 11 a.m. at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 52 Spruce St., Winchendon. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
