Jeanne L. Denardo, 95, passed away July 26 at her longtime home in Worcester. She leaves her daughters, Lisa D. Tingue of Worcester and Nancy C. Denardo of Southboro; three grandchildren, Charles, Elizabeth and Julia; two great-grandsons, Patrick and James, as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends. She was predeceased by her husband of 62 years, John E. Denardo.
Jeanne was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Margaret and Roland Lussier. She graduated from South High School, and studied business administration at Clark University. She worked for many years at New England Telephone in Worcester.
In 1979, she assisted her husband in the founding of Denardo Wire and Cable Inc. in Fitchburg. The firm was an industry leader in the medical, power and utility, geophysical, computer, and electronic instrumentation markets.
A longtime member of Immaculate Conception Parish, Jeanne’s interests included reading, bridge, history and music.
The Athy Memorial Home is assisting the family with funeral arrangements, which are private. There are no calling hours.
