Helen Elizabeth (Williamson) Nolan, 89, of Worcester. She was born on July 30, 1936. She died of natural causes in her home on Sunday, March 29, 2026.
She is pre-deceased by her husband Earl Francis Nolan, her parents Carl and Alice Williamson, her sisters Mary and Dorothy, brothers David and James Williamson.
She leaves four children: David Sneade and his wife Cynthia Frongillo of Holliston; daughter Audrey Lapierre and her husband, Marc of Dillon, SC; daughter Francine Nolan of Worcester; and son Stephen Nolan of Wittman, AZ, as well as five grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. She lived a selfless life full of generosity, enduring faith, and unwavering devotion. She will be missed dearly by her family.
Helen was a lifelong resident of Worcester. She retired as a nurse’s assistant at UMass Memorial Medical Center. She was a member of St. Christopher Parish, the Legion of Mary, and a eucharistic minister of the Sisters of Notre Dame.
Calling hours for Helen will be held on Monday, April 6, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Athy Memorial Home, 111 Lancaster Street, Worcester. A funeral Mass will be held in her honor on Tuesday, April 7 at 10 a.m. at St. Christopher’s Church, 950 West Boylston Street, Worcester. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, 217 Richards Avenue, Paxton.
The family is grateful to the staff at Knollwood Rehabilitation Center and to the Jewish Healthcare Center Hospice for their comfort, kindness, and care.
