Guy Webb Obituary

Guy A. A. Webb, 64, of Northborough, died on Sunday, June 1, 2025 after courageously fighting cancer for almost two years.

He is survived by his wife, Jennifer (Busiek) Webb, and four children: Katrina Schmitt and her partner Timothy Morway, Samantha Webb Roller and her husband Kevin Roller, Maximillian Busiek and his wife Emily McCoy Busiek, and Rebecca Schmitt. He is also survived by his siblings: David Webb and Ann Griffith, William and Rochelle Webb, Donna Mae Webb Jones and Rev Richard Jones, Raymond and Christine Webb, and John Webb. He was beloved by all his many nieces, nephews, and extended family members of both choice and blood.

Guy was born in Worcester, and is predeceased by his parents, William Hadley Webb and Evelyn Dorothy (Johnson) Webb as well as his sister-in-law Nita Webb. He attended Worcester Vocational Technical High School and graduated from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.

Guy was the Executive Director of the Home Builders & Remodelers Association of Central Mass., where he worked for 29 years until 2023. As part of his role, Guy had extensive professional knowledge of state and local building and energy codes in Massachusetts - he was a veritable expert in an area where changes and impacts were very nuanced. Since 2023, he had been a consultant for Home Energy Remedies and the HBRA State Association. He was a specialist in representing his industry in government affairs and passionately advocating for the residential construction field.

Guy was a quiet but sturdy support. His dry wit and humor, love of architecture, history, and sports paired with his gentle manner made him a favorite to spend time with, and he spent his life caring for, entertaining and wholeheartedly loving his family and friends to the very last day. His authentic kindness, positivity, and approach to life were a consistent inspiration to those around him.

Funeral services will be private and a celebration of life is to follow on a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the UMass Cancer Center.

The Athy Memorial Home, 111 Lancaster St., Worcester, is directing arrangements.
