Frank P. Lahey, 66, of Boston and formerly of Worcester, passed away on Wednesday, September 24, 2025 at home.
Frank was born in Worcester to Dr. Philip J. and Marie G. (Fay) Lahey. He graduated from St. John’s High School in Shrewsbury; and Boston College where he studied History, Philosophy and Theology.
Frank was an Officer in the Worcester Police Department for 33 years, retiring as a Sergeant.
Frank leaves three brothers, Dr. Philip J. Lahey and his wife Kathleen of Worcester, Dr. Stephen J. Lahey and his wife Patricia of Ipswich, and Peter M. Lahey and his wife Veronique of Caux, France; nieces and nephews, Dr. Philip J. Lahey IV of Worcester, Ann Lahey Gniadek of Worcester, Timothy W. Lahey of Shrewsbury, Dermot Lahey of Dorchester, Maggie Raymond of Swampscott, Chloe Lahey of Mamaroneck, N.Y. and Caroline Lahey of Versailles, France; and extended family and many friends. He was predeceased by his brother John J. Lahey.
Calling hours are Wednesday, October 1, from 5 to 7 p.m. in the Athy Memorial Home, 111 Lancaster St., Worcester. The funeral will be Thursday, October 2, with a Mass at 10 a.m. in Blessed Sacrament Church, 555 Pleasant St., Worcester.
Burial will follow in St. John’ Cemetery, Worcester.
