Emily Cournoyer Obituary

Emily M. (Arnberg) Cournoyer, 69, of Worcester, died Monday, April 10, 2023 at her home.

She leaves her son Paul T. Cournoyer of Worcester, her twin-brother Michael W. Arnberg of Charlton, and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her brothers Paul T. and J. Anthony Arnberg, and her sister Victoria Von Kessel.

Emily was born in Worcester, daughter of the late John W. and Anna E. (Lease) Arnberg. She graduated from David Hale Fanning School of Practical Nursing in 1974 and the Saint Vincent Hospital School of Nursing in 1985.

Emily was a nurse in healthcare for her entire professional life. She was dedicated to working with the needy. She also loved animals.

Funeral services with burial in Hope Cemetery, Worcester, will be private.

The Athy Memorial Home, 111 Lancaster St., is directing arrangements.
