Jesus brought Don to his eternal home on September 10, 2024 after a blessed and beautiful life journey. He leaves his loving wife Dorothy (Glaster). Predeceasing him were his son Jonathan, his brother Armand Jr. as well as his parents Armand and Antoinette (Paulauskas). He leaves a brother Kenneth Sr. of Lake Wales, FL and a sister Patricia Favreau-O’Connell (Daniel Connor) of Cherry Valley, MA, as well as many loving nieces and nephews who showed such kindness over the years.

Don was born in Worcester and completed grammar school at Blessed Sacrament. After attending Mount Carmel Prep in Hamilton, MA he followed a calling into Carmel and attended Mount Carmel College in Ontario, Canada and St. Bonaventure University in Olean, NY. He earned a BA in Philosophy and a Masters in English Literature after which he spent a year of spiritual formation at the Carmelite Novitiate in New Baltimore, PA and then four years of theology at Whitefriars Hall, Washington DC.

Don was ordained a priest in May 1963 becoming part of the Carmelite Community and also served on the retreat team in Hamilton, MA. Dispensation from the clerical state was granted after which he then taught and served as guidance counselor at Fanning and Worcester Vocational Tech Institute and received a Doctorate in Psychology and Clinical Studies from Andover Newton Theological Seminary at Yale.

Don developed a private practice called the Breath of Life Center devoted to bringing pastoral and clinical experience to his many clients. Throughout his years and experiences of serving others, he touched many lives in a profound and spiritual way.
