Christopher Phillips Obituary

Christopher R. Phillips passed away peacefully on December 28, 2022, surrounded by people who loved him deeply. He was a devoted husband to his honey and wife of 45 years, Joyce (Enman) Phillips, an unwavering supporter of his children Hillary, Ian, Samantha, and Graham, and their respective partners Chris, Leila, Marshall, and Dorothy, and a best friend to his grandchildren Joey, Naomi, Ellie, Evan, Jack, and Fitz.

Christopher’s spirit joins his parents, Robert Phillips and Jeanne (Forget) Phillips, and his siblings, Jeanne (Phillips) Bunch and Matthew Phillips.

Christopher was a Master Carpenter and General Contractor - you can find his exquisite work throughout the Commonwealth. He grew up and lived almost his entire life on Grafton Hill in Worcester. He attended Holy Name Central Catholic High School and Assumption College. Christopher was a voracious reader, instilling a love of language, storytelling, and witticism in his children.

He made everyone smile and had a knack for doing just that when a person needed it most. His sense of humor and impeccable timing was a gift he shared freely and the world was all the better for it.

Calling hours will be held at Athy Memorial Home on January 6, 2023 from 4:00pm to 7:00pm. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to the Michael J. Fox Foundation.
