Obituary
Charles Earl Chaffee, 62, of Worcester, died Saturday, June 10, 2023 at home.
He was born in Worcester, son of Charles E. and Shirley Y. (Burchfield) Chaffee.
Charles served in the U.S. Navy.
He was a truck driver for many years.
He leaves a daughter Tara Davis of Worcester; a sister Kathleen Dehart of South Carolina; and many cousins and friends.
His close companion of many years, Madeline Gordon, passed away in 2015.
Charles was a devoted member of St. Paul’s Cathedral in Worcester. He was a kind and generous person to all he met.
There will be a funeral Mass on Thursday, July 6, at 4:30 p.m. in St. Paul’s Cathedral, 15 Chatham St., Worcester. Burial will be in St. Paul’s Cemetery, Warren. There are no calling hours.
