Brian Michael Donahue, 40, of Worcester, passed away January 14, 2024.
Brian was born in Worcester to Kevin J. and Maria L. (Glennon) Donahue. He graduated from St. John’s High School in Shrewsbury, attended the University of Hartford, and graduated from Quinsigamond Community College.
He leaves his sister Erin M. Zamarro and her husband Anthony F. Zamarro, and their children Anthony F. Zamarro Jr., Catherine R. Zamarro and Leo C. Zamarro, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his parents.
Brian liked to play electric guitar, especially rock and grunge. Especially in his younger years, he had fun attending Worcester’s St. Patrick’s Parade and later attending Irish music concerts with his dad. Most recently Brian has been a supervisor for a grocery contractor. He enjoyed his annual family vacations at Hampton Beach and recent trips to Spain with his uncle, Bill.
Calling hours will be Monday, January 20, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Athy Memorial Home, 111 Lancaster St., Worcester. The funeral will be Tuesday, January 21 with a Mass at 10 a.m. in Christ the King Church, 1052 Pleasant St., Worcester. Burial will follow in St. John’s Cemetery.
