Ann M. (Cullen) Moran, 91, of Worcester, passed away on Wednesday, June 5th.
Ann is survived by her seven children, Ann Swenson and her husband Phillip, Joseph Moran, Jr., all of Worcester, Teresa Moran of West Boylston, Michael Moran of Dudley, Mary Williams and her husband Edward of Worcester, Patrick Moran and his wife Kristy of Cherry Valley and Maureen Remington of Oxford. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, Christopher, Ryan, Danielle, Kevin, Kaitlyn, Meghan, Lauren, Brendan, Evan, Nolan and Maeve Marie, as well as four great grandchildren Jace, Aiden, Carter and Charlotte.
She also leaves many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her son, Kevin Joseph Moran in 1960, as well as her three brothers, Vincent, George and David Cullen.
Ann was born in Somerville, daughter of the late Michael and Ann (Brown) Cullen.
Ann graduated from St. Columbkille's High School in Brighton.
Ann grew up in Brighton until she came to Worcester in 1956 to start her family. She loved going out to dinner, her monthly "Club" gatherings and endless conversations accompanied by the 'ever-present' cup of tea.
While most of her life was dedicated to being a stay-at-home mother to her large brood of children, Ann also worked for the telephone company in Boston and as a legal assistant for a Worcester law firm.
The funeral will be held on Monday, June 10th from the Athy Memorial Home, 111 Lancaster Street, Worcester, with a Mass at 12:00 p.m. at Christ the King Church, 1052 Pleasant Street, Worcester. Burial will follow at St. John's Cemetery, Worcester.
Visiting hours are Sunday, June 9th from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
