Ann L. (Akerson) Tivnan

Ann L. (Akerson) Tivnan, 78, of Worcester, died Friday, November 24, 2023 at the UMass Memorial Medical Center, Worcester.

Her husband, Joseph F. Tivnan died in 1969.

She leaves her daughter, Joanna Tivnan of Worcester, her sister, Mary A. Abbott of Wilsonville, Oregon; her brother, Donald F. Akerson of Shrewsbury and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister, Joan M. Akerson and her brother, Robert L. Akerson.

Ann was born in Worcester, daughter of Elmer C. and Anna (McGreevey) Akerson and graduated from North High School.

Ann worked as a project coordinator for the Norton Company for many years.

The funeral will be held on Saturday, December 2, with a graveside service at 11 a.m. in St. John’s Cemetery - Section St. Christopher, 260 Cambridge St., Worcester. There are no calling hours.
