Ann Marie Curley, born on October 10, 1931, in Worcester, MA, passed away peacefully on September 8, 2024, in Boylston, MA. A devoted mother and grandmother, Ann cherished her family above all else, celebrating each of her five grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren's birthdays with love and enthusiasm.
Her favorite quote, "Have you ever seen a dream walking...well I have," reflected her vibrant spirit and optimistic outlook on life. Ann enjoyed vacationing at the Cape and loved visiting Barnacle Billy’s in Maine, where cherished memories were made with family and friends.
Ann was predeceased by her beloved husband, James Michael Curley, and is survived by a legacy of love and kindness. She took great pride in her children James Michael Curley Jr., Mary Ann Anderson, Grace Wood and husband James Wood with whom she resided. She often spoke of the joy they brought into her life.
A devoted Catholic, Ann was known for her strong faith and commitment to prayer. She maintained a prayer list for anyone in need, ensuring that once someone made it onto the list, they would never be removed. Her faith was an integral part of her life, guiding her through both triumphs and challenges.
Ann Curley radiated grace and poise, always looking "like a million bucks." Her warmth, generosity, and unwavering love will be profoundly missed by all who knew her.
Calling hours will be Wednesday, September 11, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Athy Memorial Home, 111 Lancaster St., Worcester. Other arrangements are private.
