M. Ann (Attridge) Beauregard, 96, died on Sunday, August 27, 2023 at Notre Dame Long Term Care Center.
Her husband, Frederick F. Beauregard, passed away in 1990.
Ann leaves seven children, Frederick F. Beauregard Jr. and his wife Rachel of Sterling,
Mary A. Dillon and her husband Dennis of Worcester, Charles F. Beauregard of Worcester,
Sharon J. Stathopolas and her husband Mark of Wells, Maine, Patricia M. Lavallee and her husband Paul, Michael J. Beauregard, and Joan M. Beauregard and her partner Don Samia, all of Worcester; a brother William R. Attridge of Old Saybrook, Conn.;11 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
She was also predeceased by her daughter Anne Marie Ventula, her sons, John F. and Robert W. Beauregard, her sister Mary E. Hynes, and her brothers George E. Attridge Jr. and John T. Attridge.
Ann was born in Worcester, daughter of George E. and Mildred A. (Leary) Attridge and lived in Worcester all her life. She was a graduate of Classical High School and Becker College.
Before having children, Ann worked for the New England Telephone Co. Later in her life, she was a receptionist for many years at the Worcester law firm of Fletcher, Tilton & Whipple, before retiring.
Ann always enjoyed Moody Beach in Maine.
Ann’s family was her highest priority throughout her life. She was always happiest holding a child, a grandchild or a great-grandchild. She found several friends who shared her interests with their own families, and they formed an informal group called the Grandmothers.
The Beauregard family wishes to thank the staff at Notre Dame Long Term Care Center for their compassionate care of their mother.
There will be a funeral Mass on Wednesday, Sept. 6, at 11 a.m. in St. Peter’s Church, 931 Main St., Worcester. Burial will follow in St. John’s Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
