Larievy and his wife, Amber Larievy of Ventura, CA and two nephews and a niece. Alan also leaves several friends who he made throughout the years because of his engaging personality and love of people.
Alan was a life long resident of Worcester in the Tatnuck area and loved nature and the environs that the area offered which included hunting, fishing and hiking through the forests. He was a graduate of the Outward Bound Program, which included a thirty day training program, including a three day solo experience in the mountains of Oregon. Alan gained a very strong appreciation of the beauty of nature and the peace it can give. This experience would later comfort him as he faced the challenges that a long illness presented. He also liked the original rock music along with a passion for his Red Sox. Throughout his life, he had a special bond with family, especially his mother, Genevieve, who cared for him and his wellbeing until her passing.
Alan will be very much missed by his family and friends but will be remembered for his kindness, sense of humor and smile.
